Tablescape of Christmas Past

It's been a year since I started blogging. This first year of blogging has been a wonderful year for me, because through this blog I have been able to speak my heart out, and  have been able to showcase my passion for Interiors, Tablescapes and Decors. Its has also been a great learning experience. Most importantly, it also introduced me to some beautiful bloggers like Fabby, Alycia, Sarah, Marigene, Chie, and so many others who were all so supportive and encouraging. I must thank Alana from All is Amazing who gave me a Kreativ Blogger Award and kind hearted & lovable blogger Marty who featured four of my creations in her Inspirational links posts. Its a great gesture of Marty (A Stroll Thru Life), Susan (Between Naps on the Porch), The Tablescaper and The Style Sisters to host link partys every week. Its nice to be in blogging and I love and enjoy what I do. Thanks to all the lovely people who leave their comments, the compliments I receive are like my jewels. I collect and keep them close to my heart. They are gifts for my creations. I pause, breath and cherish them.

This is last years xmas tablescape which with which I started my blogging. Hope you like it and have a great Xmas season.

  2. Awwwwww....you make me so happy! Thank you! What a nice shout out!!! I have been sick since last Wednesday, so I am late getting around to visiting my favorite blogs. I wish I could have visited your post when I was sick...it would have surely made me feel a whole lot better a whole lot faster!!! Wow...I don't know how you're going to beat this table from last year! It's rockin', sister! LOVE that sheer overlay with the stars!!! That is SO perfect for the season!!! All the white and silver and glimmer is just gorgeous!!!!!! Something else that caught my eye is the way you embellished your mirror above the buffet! Goodness gracious, that's pretty!!! I'm such a wienie about decorating mirrors because I'm always afraid I'll knock them off the wall, but this gives me great inspiration! Your buffet decor is beautiful, too, and I love the way it ties in so well with the mirror. Wow, again...not sure how you're going to top this, but I can't wait to see it!!!! I hope you had a good weekend!!!

  3. Hi Sujatha! Thank you for visiting me and leaving such sweet comments on my tablescapes. This table is beautiful! Love all the clear glass tableware with touches of silver. And the overlay is lovely... you reminded me I have some overlays that need to come out. Thank you for sharing.

Diwali With Lights

The word Deepavali stems from the Sanskrit words, Deepa meaning ‘Light’ and Avali meaning ‘Row’. It means a row of lights and illumination is undoubtedly its main attraction. Deepavali, the festival of lights, even to this day, projects the rich and glorious past of our country and teaches us to uphold the true values of life.    THE FLICKERING LIGHT OF A FLAME IS TRULY MAGICAL. A Wedding to Remember.:)))

When two souls, which have sought each other for however long in the throng, have finally found each other, when they have seen that they are matched, in a word they are alike, compatible and established a union for ever between them. A union illuminated & pure for ever and ever.. This union is love, true love filled with full of sweetest delights & compassion. My second son Capt Siddharth and sweet Saumya tied the knot on 16th Feb. The wedding was a grand event with both the families coming together to bless the wonderful couple. Sharing few photos of the wedding in the blog- post today with rest of you all.:)))   Please visit Nap on the porch

Shades of Green

This is September, and the month offers its own fresh start to many things. Here in India, it is the beginning of festivities and celebrations for the next few coming weeks. These are the days of showers too, and it is truly refreshing & soothing to see the plants and trees after every brief shower. The moist leaves give us an impression that they are happy and smiling and breathing a 'Thank You' for the fresh green look. I love the colour green and as we all know it is one of Mother Natures primary colours. The green stem is honoured and credited to hold every flower of different colours. That's awesome. Inspiration comes from every where and the colour green inspired me to do a scape, with the green touch. I collected the green ware from the racks and putting it together as a teascape was pleasing to the eyes like the happy greenery around us. Sometimes it is wonderful to have tea and treat ourselves amongst a small collection of green plants. M
